As with its cars, Citroen has applied technology to the people carrier. This sleek designed motor car can be an 8-seater, if a bus is what you are after, or a 7-seater, for a luxury mode of transport. But as a useful family machine or a something to carry people and their belongings, it is as a 5-seater that it scores. However, although discarding the rear-most seats does provide a huge amount of luggage space, that space is not easy to load into.
Outside is typical Citroen quality. Inside, it is not just the quality you see. First, there are acres of glass and second there is a curious sculpture in the middle of the dashboard that holds the major dials. Then there is the panoramic mirror so the kids can't get up to anything without you seeing, seatback tables and pencil holders. 3-zone climate control keeps everyone as cool as their surroundings.
Access to the interior is through electrically operated rear side doors, which have remote control. This certainly helps when parking in a car park where someone has come a little close.
Power comes from 2.0ltr and 2.2ltr engines in both petrol and diesel. As is usual, the diesels provide the best power for this type of vehicle and the 2.2ltr has proved itself in a number of other cars. Insurance groups 10-17.
