Why is it that manufacturers never seem to get everything right? The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is almost the perfect MPV, but it is let down by the engines on offer...as though the Citroen/Peugeot empire doesn't have a good engine or two!
Taking the sheer comfort as read - all Citroens are comfortable - Citroen has done the other thing it is good at and come up with a huge number of interesting features. Seats that move this way and that, but fold perfectly flat into the floor for storage; huge amounts of glass for good visibility; tons of storage and a boot light that can be used as a torch.
The driving position can be a little awkward for some drivers with limited foot space and a foot rest that is too high. However, controls are well presented with the central fixed hub of the steering column being used to hold most of the major ones. The huge screen and extra large sunroof give the interior a feeling of light airy space. Large blinds can be used if protection is needed to counteract this.
Power comes from 1.8ltr and 2.0ltr petrol engines and 1.6ltr, 1.8ltr and 2.0ltr diesels.
