Do I get a discount if I buy my car insurance online?

In many cases you will receive a discount for buying online. The main reason for this is because by going online you're not talking to one of the insurance companies' call centre agents who need to be paid. So as it's costing the insurance company less to sell you your car insurance policy, you're being charged less to buy it.

Be careful though - if you're confused about anything in the insurance policy you are looking to buy, make sure you investigate before committing yourself.
