We’re having a big chat about kids, money and things on September 24

Parents, eh? Who’d be one? Yes, your children may well be a delight, but by ‘eck, they don’t half cost a lot of money.

Whether it’s the relentless pressure to keep up with the latest playground fads, putting money aside for their future education, or potentially dealing with their own blinkered view to money, there’s little debate that children cost a blooming fortune.

So, we thought we’d orchestrate something akin to a massive parental chinwag around the school gates for money-conscious mas & pas to air their gripes and share their secrets on all matters to do with offspring and cash. It’ll all be happening over popular social networking medium Twitter on September 24th 2012 between 7-8pm, and it’ll have its own ‘hashtag’ (#cashchat) so you can keep track of what’s going on.

Here’s a just few of the topics we’ll be broaching…

• FINANCIALLY PREPARING FOR A BABY!
• TEACHING YOUR CHILDREN TO BE FINANCIALLY SAVVY!
• TEENAGERS AND MONEY!
• STUDENT FINANCIAL NOUS!

We’ve roped in top finance bloggers @Frugal Family and @PennyGolightly to host the social media shindig, and what’s more, we’ve got a Kindle Touch 3G ‘e-reader’ to give away EVERY TEN MINUTES for lucky tweeters, so you’d be daft to miss out.

Sound good? Then make sure you join us on September 24th 2012 at 7pm sharp for a big  #cashchat. It’s going to be mega.
