Highway Insurance Holdings Plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is one of the UK's largest motor insurance providers. According to their website, in 2006 they will have over 600,000 customers and a total premium income of over £625m, making them one of the most profitable insurance companies in the UK. Their market research led them into creating a specialist motor insurance business which is now underwritten solely by the Highway Insurance Company Limited which is of course regulated by the FSA.
