Work drivers not taking regular breaks?

People who drive for work purposes may not be taking the number of breaks they need to stay safe at the wheel - potentially risking a car insurance claim.
Research by car firm Skoda has found that while 65 per cent of work drivers try to remember to take a break every two hours, one in six of those questioned said they never had time in their day to get away from the wheel.
In addition, the survey found that one-tenth of respondents spend more than 30 hours per week driving, with one in five being behind the wheel for over 20 hours per week.
Martin Burke, head of business sales at Skoda, stated: "When it comes to work-related travel, the car remains the business tool of choice. Benefits of face-to-face interaction and a break from the office clearly offset the nuisance of traffic congestion for most workers."
Earlier findings by Brake, the road safety charity, showed that one in ten work drivers had fallen asleep at the wheel in the past year.
