Car dealerships offer UK's most expensive cup of tea?

Vehicle repairs firm Kwik-Fit has discovered that Britain's most expensive cup of tea may be found at a driver's local dealership.
The firm has made the claim following an investigation into the servicing costs charged by dealers.
It suggests that many drivers are unaware of the premium they pay to have their vehicle serviced at a main dealership.
According to Kwik-Fit, opting for a main dealer service may result in little more than a vacuum, car wash and free cup of tea, which could get achieved for under £10 at some garages rather than £100 at main dealerships.
David White, Kwik-Fit's customer service director, commented: "Motorists we've spoken to want great service at an affordable price and Kwik-Fit has spent time listening to and reflecting these demands. But many dealerships continue to charge high prices to their customers."
Meanwhile, the Journal has reported that an independent car dealer in Tyneside is hoping to increase turnover by more than £50 million - not with expensive cups of tea, but with the introduction of a new rental division.
