Exact models top list of used car buyers' desires

Motorists looking to buy a used car will choose a particular dealership to look for the exact model they want, findings have shown.
According to research by British Car Auctions (BCA), 50 per cent of drivers rank being able to find the exact car they want as their number one reason for visiting specific dealers. The second most important factor was found to be the price.
Finding a dealership that is nearby and convenient was placed third, while friendly and professional staff came in at number four.
"March will definitely be a great time for a wide range of choice, whether buying from a dealer or at auction," stated Tim Naylor, PR manager at BCA.
"So buyers should make the most of the influx of used vehicles as March 1st sees the new registration plates hit the road."
Last March, figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders showed that new car registrations in the UK were up 3.1 per cent year on year.
