Fiat 500 named best small car

The revamped Fiat 500 has been named the best car in the Small and Compact Vehicle category of the Auto 1 Awards.
Editors, experts, racing drivers and readers of Auto 1 cast their vote in the awards to choose the vehicle as the best for those looking for a smaller motor.
The award is the latest to be given to the Fiat 500, which has also been named Car of the Year 2008.
Some of the vehicle's specifications include an ultra-low emission engine and a variety of trim levels, as well as a relatively low starting price of £7,900 on the road.
The three-door four-seater automobile falls into car insurance group two and measures 3,546 mm from the front to back bumpers.
Fiat first launched the original version of the car in the 1950s and was produced until the 1970s, before being relaunched with an all-new image last year.
