Endsleigh has launched a new online insurance scheme, it has been reported.

The insurance firm has joined up with marketing group Inbox to produce the campaign, which will target students.

New and returning students are the focus of the service, which generates home insurance quotes on the company's main website.

Mike Day, Endsleigh's e-commerce manager, said: "We're constantly optimising our offers to make sure it fits with students' needs and this year we're offering unique tailor-made packages."

The system includes a new look for certain pages within the company's website, which has been designed by Inbox.

Oli Christie, creative director for the project, states the new "smart, uncluttered style" is set to appeal to students and mark Endsleigh out as "a specialist in the insurance market".

Meanwhile, it was recently suggested that students and young people could save up to £150 by shopping around for car insurance, reports Swiftcover.com.

The website states it is "unfair" young people are charged more for cover because of their age and advises motorists to gather several quotes before decided on motor insurance.
