What is social bookmarking?
Social bookmarking is a way of storing, managing and sharing links to
web pages across the internet.
What are the benefits?
Unlike using a favourites list, which is personal to you and can only be accessed from your own
computer, social bookmarking allows you to share web pages you find interesting or useful with
friends and other like-minded people. Providing you have an internet connection, you can also
access your bookmarks from any computer, anywhere in the world.
How does it work?
On some of our pages you will find a selection of social bookmarking links on the right hand
side of the page. If you find that page interesting and want to save it for future reference, or
you’d like to share it with others, then click on one of the links to save it to your list.
These sites are free to use but they do require you to register. Once you are a registered
user you can start bookmarking.
As each of the sites works slightly differently you may find some more suitable for your needs
than others.
† Please note, we cannot be held responsible for the content of external websites and by using
the link stated to access this separate website you will be subject to the terms of use applying to that site.
