Find cheap Hull airport transfers easily with GoCompare

If you want to enjoy the highlights of the UK City of Culture 2017, you can get to Hull by plane. Once there, it can be easy to get lost in the Yorkshire city, so it’s worth getting an airport transfer to your hotel.

Key points

  • You can get a taxi or the bus directly into and out of Hull from the airport
  • The airport does offer a train to other destinations across the Pennines
  • Prices will vary depending on where you’re going and how you want to get there

Humberside Airport, which services Hull, offers flights to and from several destinations in Europe. So, if you’re looking for a way to get away from the bright lights of Hull, or if you’re coming in for a visit to the cultural capital of the north, an airport transfer may be the best way of getting to and from the airport.

Hull airport transfers

You could drive to Humberside Airport, but you could end up paying hefty car parking fares. Much better to get a transfer and let someone else get you there in plenty of time.

Grab a cab

Humberside Airport has an approved partner taxi service in Cable Taxis, and its stand can be found in the terminal building. You can also pre-book their services.

There are several private taxi companies that offer luxury transfers, including Airport Cars Hull, East Yorkshire and Leicester Transfer Services, Hull Airport Taxis and Hull Cars. Most of them offer uniformed chauffeurs who'll drive you where you need to go.

However, the prices can be expensive depending on your destination, so it may be worth looking into alternative transportation.

The private companies offer transfers up to as far as Heathrow Airport, though that particular journey could cost you up to £200 or more. Most of the destinations on offer are those in the surrounding area of the Pennines, including Leeds, Manchester Airport and Doncaster.

Planes, trains, and automobiles

If you don’t have much luggage, or prefer to take a more scenic route out into the surrounding towns and cities like Grimsby or Scunthorpe, you can get the train.

Hop in a taxi to (or from) Barnetby Station and you can be taken to many of the top locations in the Pennines. You can even get as far as Leicester or Loughborough!

I like a big bus and I cannot lie

Enjoy a relaxing journey on the highway to Hull by bus, using the Humber Flyer. It’s a relatively cheap way of getting to and from the airport and operates between Monday and Saturday.
