Dine membership giveaway - terms and conditions

Eligibility

1. The free Dine card membership (the “Membership”) is open to customers of GoCompare.com Limited, company registration number 05799376 (“GoCompare”) who purchased or quoted for car, home, van, bike or pet insurance (which can be properly verified by GoCompare) and such insurance has a renewal date between 23 August 2018 and 28 February 2019. Only customers who are residents of the United Kingdom shall be eligible to receive the Membership. Only one person per policy purchased is eligible for a Membership. This offer is not transferable. 

Qualifying Purchases or Quotes 

2. A purchase will be deemed a “Qualifying Purchase or Quote” where, the customer has purchased or quoted for car, home, van, bike or pet insurance using the www.gocompare.com website and which insurance has a renewal date between 23 August 2018 and 28 February 2019. 

Verification

3. Customers will only be eligible for a Membership where GoCompare is able to verify the Qualifying Purchase or Quote. Purchases or quotes not made through the www.gocompare.com website, including those made directly from a product provider without reference to the relevant GoCompare quote or reference number, or where a customer renewed an existing product with their product provider, shall not be eligible for a Membership. GoCompare accepts no responsibility for any delay, failure or error in verifying a Qualifying Purchase or Quote caused by a third party provider. GoCompare reserves the right to withdraw this offer of a Membership at any time, including where GoCompare is unable to verify the Qualifying Purchase or Quote. 

Fulfilment 

4. Customers eligible for a Membership will receive a reward email from us, setting out the instructions for activating their Membership (the “Reward Email”). Reward Emails will be sent to the same email address used to make the Qualifying Purchase or Quote. 

Membership Conditions & Redemptions

5. You will have 1 month from the date you receive the Reward Email to activate your Membership. The Membership will be subject to the Dine Terms of Membership save that where there are any inconsistencies between the Dine Terms of Membership and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall apply. 

6. GoCompare accepts no responsibility for any delays or failures in activating the Membership which are due to a system failure by Dine or any other factors outside of the reasonable control of GoCompare. No cash or other alternative in part or in full shall be offered in lieu of the Membership. Memberships are not transferable and you are not permitted to sell your Membership. Memberships should be treated like cash and be kept securely, they cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Memberships are subject to availability and GoCompare reserves the right to withdraw this offer of a Membership at any time, including where we believe that the terms of the offer are being abused in any way.

7. Your Membership will expire on the renewal date of the latest product car, home, van, bike or pet insurance product purchased or quoted for and will not be automatically renewed at expiry. 

Data Protection 

8. Personal data may be shared with Rocket UK Ltd (trading as DINE, with company No. 4294400) strictly to the extent necessary for them to fulfil the Membership. Any data processed during the course of this promotion will be held and used in accordance with our privacy policy. Customers using the wwww.gocompare.com  website will also be subject to our general terms and conditions.

9.Any questions or complaints relating to this offer should in the first instance be directed to GoCompare via rewardteam@gocompare.com. 

Change to Terms 

10. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and without notice.   We recommend that you occasionally check the terms and conditions to check for changes which may affect you. 

Applicable Law 

11. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the sole discretion of the Courts of England and Wales.

HOW DO I CLAIM MY MEMBERSHIP?


If you have made a Qualifying Purchase or Quote you will be sent a Reward Email setting out how you can activate your Membership.


WHAT IS A QUALIFYING PURCHASE OR QUOTE?


A Qualifying Purchase or Quote is where an eligible customer has purchased or quoted for car, home, van, bike or pet insurance through GoCompare and which insurance has a renewal date between 23 August 2018 and 28 February 2019. 


WHO IS ELIGIBLE?


Only customers who have purchased or quoted for car, home, van, bike or pet insurance though GoCompare where such insurance has a renewal date between 23 August 2018 and 28 February 2019 are eligible.


WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MEMBERSHIP?


You will be sent a Reward Email containing a link to a page where you can activate your Membership.


IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO ACTIVATE MY MEMBERSHIP?


Your Membership must be activated within 1 month of receiving the Reward Email.


HOW MANY MEMBERSHIPS CAN I CLAIM?


You can only claim one Membership per email address in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of this offer.  


WHY IS THE MEMBERSHIP NOT AVAILABLE ON ALL PRODUCTS?


We have offered the Membership for the purchase or quotation of car, home, van, bike or pet insurance only. 


CAN I BACK DATE A MEMBERSHIPCLAIM?


Unfortunately not. The Membership offer is only valid from 12 July 2018.


IS IT FREE TO COLLECT MY MEMBERSHIP?


There are no additional or administrative charges for you to receive your Membership.


HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY MEMBERSHIP?


You will  receive a Reward Email with a link to activate your Membership. 


I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY MEMBERSHIP, WHERE IS IT?


If you haven't received your Membership and you made a Qualifying Purchase or Quote, email us at rewardteam@gocompare.com and they will investigate why you have not received your Membership.
