Flights to Naples, Italy

If you're flying to this part of Italy then you're likely to be landing at Naples International Airport.

Naples International Airport / Aeroporto di Napoli-Capodichino (NAP)

Found in the Capodichino part of the city, NAP is four miles from downtown Naples. It's sometimes called Capodichino Airport by locals, and it’s a decent-sized airport that had a refurb in 2018. NAP is well-connected to the city and with lots of budget carriers using it, there's no excuse not to visit Naples!

Top tips for cheap flights to Naples

June to August is the peak season for Naples, with flights in August often at a premium. This is despite it being at times uncomfortably hot and some restaurants and shops closing in August. Consider coming in spring or autumn when it's more pleasant weather-wise. Prices are at their lowest and the sights are at the quietest in winter.

Here's a few more things to think about when looking for cheap flights to Naples:

  • As it's a short flight, do a stint in standard economy
  • Are your dates adjustable? If so, experiment with dates and times to bring down the cost
  • Generally the price of flights increases the longer they're on sale, before dropping at the last minute if the plane isn't full - so book in advance or right at the death
  • International flights are usually cheaper in midweek

To see all your options, have a quick bash on comparing tickets. You could make some serious savings on flights to Naples. Buon viaggio!
