What does Beagle Street life insurance cover?

Beagle Street offers two different types of life insurance that will pay out a set amount if you die during the policy term:

Level term insurance

This could be the right option if you want a policy where the payout stays the same for the duration of your policy. The payout and premiums are agreed when you set up the policy and these will stay unchanged throughout the policy term

Decreasing term insurance

This type of policy also lasts for a fixed period and is typically used to cover a specific debt, like a mortgage. Your monthly premiums will stay the same throughout your policy, but the cover and payout will decrease

What’s included with Beagle Street life insurance?

Each Beagle Street life insurance policy also comes with a number of benefits including:

  1. Free legal advice

All Beagle Street policies include an hour of free legal advice. With this benefit, you can speak to a legal expert about any legal matters including those that don’t relate to the end of life

  2. Quick funeral payment

To help you cover the costs of a funeral, Beagle Street policies can give you an early payment of up to £5,000 before the remainder of the payout is made

  3. Counselling support service

Beagle Street policies come with a companion service which provides free bereavement support for people dealing with the loss of a loved one

  4. Free will writing service

Every policyholder can write a simple will using one of Beagle Street's regional partners, which will cover up to six beneficiaries at no extra cost

What optional extras are available?

If you take out a Beagle Street life insurance policy, you can also buy critical illness cover as a policy add-on.

This could provide some financial security if you’re diagnosed with a serious health condition and can help to cover costs if you find yourself unable to work for a period of time.

You can also add child critical illness cover to your Beagle Street policy, which can help to support your family if one of your children is diagnosed with a serious illness.

How much does Beagle Street life insurance cost?

This will depend on factors like your age, health and lifestyle along with the type of policy you take out and how long you’ll need cover for.

The amount of cover you choose can also affect the cost of your premiums - you’ll pay more in premiums to have a higher lump sum payout if you die during the policy term.

To get the best cover to suit your budget and needs, it’s always best to shop around and compare quotes.
