This index comprises the best camping locations around the UK in England, Scotland and Wales. To find the best locations to tour in a van, our study analysed a number of different factors including:

  • Parking costs
  • Petrol prices
  • Things to do (including food, shopping and nature/views)

An index score was used to rank each location based on the above ranking factors. The final index score then tallied these up to find the best destinations across the UK to holiday in a van.
